Working Time — 27 Oct 1998
Oliver Letwin MP, West Dorset voted in the minority (Aye).
I beg to move,
That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, praying that the Working Time Regulations 1998 (S.I., 1998, No. 1833), dated 30th July 1998, a copy of which was laid before this House on 30th July, be annulled.
The House divided: Ayes 129, Noes 358.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||128 (+2 tell)||0||80.2%|
|Lab||330 (+2 tell)||0||0||79.6%|
