Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Bill — Repeal of Provisions of Football (Disorder) Act 2000 — 14 Nov 2001 at 20:00
John Prescott MP, Kingston upon Hull East did not vote.
I beg to move that after the end of the period of four years beginning with the day on which section 1 of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2001 enters into force no banning orders may be made.
The House divided: Ayes 106, Noes 278.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||54 (+2 tell)||0||34.1%|
|Lab||277 (+2 tell)||0||0||68.0%|
