House of Lords Reform — House of Lords to be abolished — rejected — 4 Feb 2003 at 16:58

The majority No voters rejected a proposal that the House of Lords be completely abolished[1]. Those voting Aye were indicating that, at least in theory, they thought that the upper chamber of Parliament could be abolished entirely. Those voting No were indicating that they believed that there had to be an upper chamber of Parliament in some form.
