Finance Bill — Schedule 21 — Approved Share Plans and Schemes — 1 Jul 2003 at 18:00
Dominic Grieve MP, Beaconsfield voted in the minority (Aye).
I beg to move amendment No. 13, in schedule 21, page 251, line 9, at end insert
"and insert 'or 4 (in respect of shares acquired under approved CSOP schemes pursuant to rights granted before 9th April 2003)'.".
Question put, That the amendment be made:-
The House divided: Ayes 189, Noes 309.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||1||134 (+2 tell)||0||84.0%|
|Independent Ulster Unionist||0||1||0||33.3%|
|Lab||308 (+2 tell)||0||0||75.8%|
