Constitutional Reform Bill — Clause 20 — The Location of the Supreme Court — 1 Feb 2005 at 14:15

Geoffrey Robinson MP, Coventry North West voted with the majority (No).

Those voting Aye wanted to assert that the Supreme Court was to be situated in the Palace of Westminister (the main building of Parliament) rather than at any other place.

As it stands, Clause 20(1) of the Constitutional Reform Bill, says:

There is to be a Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.

and they wanted to add the phrase:

...situated in the Palace of Westminster.
