Health and Safety (Directors' Duties) Bill — 4 Mar 2005 at 12:59
Mr Tom Watson MP, West Bromwich East voted with the majority (Teller for the Ayes).
I beg to move, That the Bill be now read a Second time.
I am proud and honoured to be able to present this Bill to Parliament on behalf not only of all the workers in the United Kingdom, but of the families who have suffered from bereavements in the workplace. Some of them are in the Gallery today.
Question put, That the Bill be read a Second time:-
The House divided: Ayes 28, Noes 0.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||0 (+2 tell)||0||1.2%|
|Lab||25 (+2 tell)||0||0||6.6%|
