Orders of the Day — Clause 5 — Standard powers and duties of community support officers — 24 Oct 2006 at 21:15
Kenneth Clarke MP, Rushcliffe voted in the minority (No).
I beg to move, That this House disagrees with the Lords in the said amendment.
The amendment removes clause 15, which would allow punitive conditions such as a fine to be attached to a conditional caution.
The House having divided: Ayes 300, Noes 217.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||158 (+2 tell)||0||81.2%|
|Lab||299 (+2 tell)||0||0||85.5%|
