Amendment 163 tabled by crossbencher Baroness Masham of Ilton that would remove the grounds for lawful ground for abortion where there is a substantial risk that if the child were born it would suffer from such physical or mental abnormalities.

Before Clause 59, insert the following new Clause-
"Amendment of law relating to late abortion
(1) In subsection (1) of section 1 of the Abortion Act 1967 (c. 87), paragaph (d) is repealed.
(2) In subsection (2) of section 5 of that Act, paragraph (a) is repealed."
