Biometric registration of immigration — Pilot regulations — 23 Apr 2008 at 19:40
Oliver Letwin MP, West Dorset did not vote.
The majority of MPs voted to approve the Immigration (Biometric Registration) (Pilot) Regulations 2008 which sets out, under the powers of the UK Borders Act 2007, which categories of visitors must be issued with a biometric immigration document.
These regulations were replaced by their permanent version by a vote in Parliament on 9 July 2008.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
