I beg to move amendment No. 21, in page 51, line 11, leave out from 'acquisition"' to end of line 12 and insert
'means the acquisition of a dwelling when it has not been previously acquired by a buyer'.
Question put, That the amendment be made:-
The Committee divided: Ayes 137, Noes 336.

What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
