Control Orders — Annual Renewal 2010 — 1 Mar 2010 at 20:45
Kelvin Hopkins MP, Luton North voted both ways.
The majority of MPs voted for the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005 (Continuance in Force of Sections 1 to 9) Order 2010 in order to renew the Control Orders regime for another year. The Conservative Party didn't vote in this, as they haven't done since 2007
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Lab||204 (+2 tell)||23||1||65.9%|
|LDem||0||54 (+2 tell)||0||88.9%|
