Delegated Legislation — Pensions — Automatic Enrolment Regulations — 8 Mar 2010 at 21:28
A majority of MPs voted to approve the draft version of the Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Automatic Enrolment) Regulations 2010. These regulations were drafted by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, and form part of the basis of the pension reforms established in the Pension Act 2008; specifically, they set out the practical arrangements underpinning the automatic enrolment of employees onto pension schemes.
An explanatory memorandum to the four main pieces of legislation related to pension reform can be found here (pdf format).
