Dai Havard MP, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney voted to oppose the Police Grant for 2010-11
The majority of MPs voted to approve the Police Grant Report (England and Wales) for 2010-11.
The report sets out the Home Secretary’s determination for 2010/11 of the aggregate amount of grants for police purposes that they propose to pay and the amount of grant proposed to pay each police authority.
The report is presented to the House of Commons pursuant to section 46 of the Police Act 1996.
The text of the motion approved was:
- That the Police Grant Report (England and Wales) for 2010-11: Amending Report 2010-11 (House of Commons Paper No. 47), which was laid before this House on 10 June, be approved.
The total policing grant for 2010/11 is £4,808,807,759.
The total policing grant for 2009/10 was £4,682,677,857.
