The House of Lords was considering the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill[1]. The amendment accepted in this vote was:
- Amendment 5: Clause 1, page 1, line 6, leave out "on 5 May" and insert "before 31 October"
This affected Clause 1(2) of the Bill[2] which at the time of the vote stated:
- The referendum must be held on 5 May 2011.
