Localism Bill — Clause 130 — Flexible Tenancies — 18 May 2011 at 17:45
George Osborne MP, Tatton did not vote.
The majority of MPs voted to introduce a new type of fixed term tenancies called flexible tenancies.
MPs were considering the Localism Bill. The amendment rejected in this vote was:
- Amendment: 13, page 114, line 36, leave out clause 130.
Clause 130 which was retained in the Bill following this vote was titled Flexible tenancies and provided a type of tenancy called a flexible tenancy which is a secure tenancy of a fixed term (not less than two years).
