Stephen Metcalfe MP, South Basildon and East Thurrock voted for increased private-sector involvement in the NHS
The majority of MPs voted to pass the National Health Service and Social Care Bill.[1][2]
The Bill is a large change to the NHS, replacing Primary Care Trusts with GP Comissioning. The bill increases competition in the NHS, and increases private sector involvement in the NHS.
