Nick Hurd MP, Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner voted to cap success fees in no-win no-fee cases at 100% of the lawyer's basic fee, and to additionally set a further cap of 25% of damages awarded in personal injury cases.

The motion approved by the majority of MPs was:
- That the Conditional Fee Agreements Order 2013, which was laid before this House on 21 January, be approved.
The order caps a success fee paid in relation to a conditional fee agreement (also known as a "no-win no-fee" (or "no win low fee") agreement for legal services at 100% of a lawyer's basic fee. A success fee cap of 25% of damages additionally applies in relation to personal injury cases.
