MPs were considering the Crime and Courts Bill[1]. The amendment rejected in this vote was:

  • Amendment: 95, page 10, line 15, leave out Clause 12.

Clause 12[2] titled NCA officers with operational powers: labour relations sought to prevent the Director General of the National Crime Agency or officers of the agency from being induced to strike (for example by a trade union).

Clause 12 also allows the Home Secretary to seek an injunction restraining a threatened strike by NCA officers holding operational powers.[3]
