The majority of MPs voted not to require a report on the impact on revenue of the Finance Act and the Spending Round 2013.

The proposed new clause rejected in this vote states:

  • ‘The Chancellor shall publish, within six months of Royal Assent, a review of the impact on revenue from rates and measures in this Act, resulting from the Spending Round 2013. He shall place a copy of the Review in the House of Commons Library
