Defence Reforms — Delay Disbandment of Regular Units Until Army Reserve Plan Shown to Be Viable — 17 Oct 2013 at 15:00
The majority of MPs voted in favour of delaying the disbandment of regular units until it is established that the Army Reserve plan is viable and cost-effective.

notes concerns about the Government’s defence reforms in relation to whether its proposals for the reserve forces will deliver either the anticipated cost savings or defence capability; and
-
urges the Government to delay the disbandment of regular units until it is established that the Army Reserve plan is viable and cost-effective.
