Police (Northern Ireland) Bill [Lords] — Clause 12 — Investigations into Current Police Practices and Policies — 27 Mar 2003 at 15:30
George Osborne MP, Tatton did not vote.
I beg to move amendment No. 45, in page 9, line 8, [Clause 12], leave out 'he has' and insert
'the Board and the Secretary of State have'.
Question put, That the amendment be made:-
The House divided: Ayes 7, Noes 266.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Lab||240 (+2 tell)||0||0||59.0%|
|UUP||0||2 (+2 tell)||0||66.7%|
