Identity Cards Bill — 29 Mar 2006 at 17:28
Lord Macdonald of Tradeston voted with the majority (Content).
The House of Lords proposed some additional amendments (22M-22O) to give people, until 2010, the option of not being given an ID card when they renew their "designated document" (passport), though they will still be entered in the National Identity Register. Baroness Scotland sums up the motion amendments.
