Climate Change Bill — No report on international impace — 18 Mar 2008 at 16:48
The majority of Lords voted against widening the remit of the report assessing the risks for current and predicted impact of climate change on the United Kingdom to include "the risks of damage to or deterioration of the environment including biodiversity, living organisms and the ecological systems of which they form part, and nature resources".
The requirements for the report is in Clause 48, and the additions had been proposed by Lord Teverson.
