The majority of MPs voted in favour of the Public Service Pensions Bill at its second reading; supporting the main principles of the Bill and allowing it to continue on the path towards becoming law.
The Bill enables new public sector pensions schemes to be established via secondary legislation and sets out a framework which must be followed in relation to such schemes.
