18: Clause 7, page 4, line 38, at end insert-“( ) Where information is disclosed in accordance with subsection (2) such disclosure will only be permitted where-(a) it is required as part of international cooperation for pharmacovigilance; or(b) it is in the public interest.”Member’s explanatory statementThis amendment would allow a relevant authority to disclose information to a person outside the UK where required for the purpose of giving effect to an international agreement or arrangement concerning the regulation of human medicine provided it is within the public interest to do so.
