Page 4, line 36, at end insert-
"( ) The Board is to monitor the arrangements for-

(a) the release of official statistics, and(b) any access to official statistics in their final form prior to publication."

The Commons disagree to Lords Amendment No. 10 for the following Reason-
Because the Statistics Board can in any event monitor the arrangements for the release of official statistics and access to official statistics in their final form prior to publication.
Page 5, line 13, at end insert-
"(1D) The Code shall include rules and principles relating to the release of official statistics, including-

(a) the location from which the release of official statistics may be made;(b) the time at which the release of official statistics may be made; and(c) the identification of the person or persons who are responsible for the release of official statistics."

The Commons disagree to Lords Amendment No. 14 for the following Reason-
Because it is for the Statistics Board to decide whether to include rules and practices relating to the release of official statistics and, if so, what those rules and practices should be.

moved, as an amendment to Motion B, leave out from "House" to end, and insert "do insist on its Amendments Nos. 10 and 14".
