Learning and Skills Bill — Abolish arrangements to allow a ballot of parents on whether grammar schools should keep selective admission policies — rejected — 27 Jun 2000
The majority No voters rejected a new clause[1] to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998. This would have abolished arrangements to allow a ballot of parents on whether grammar schools should keep selective admission policies. However, the amendment was defeated.
