Government of Wales Bill — [1st Allotted Day] — Clause 92 — Assembly measures — 23 Jan 2006 at 19:45
Kelvin Hopkins MP, Luton North voted with the majority (No).
I beg to move amendment No. 48, in page 50, line 9, at end insert-
'(2A) No Assembly Measure may be introduced unless a majority of voters in a referendum vote in favour of Assembly Measure provisions coming into force.'.
Question put, That the amendment be made:-
The Committee divided: Ayes 136, Noes 304.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||134 (+2 tell)||0||69.4%|
|Lab||260 (+2 tell)||0||0||74.2%|
