Point of Order — Clause 2 — Meaning of "charitable purpose" — 25 Oct 2006 at 15:45
I beg to move amendment No. 123, in page 2, line 10, after 'religion', insert 'or belief'.
The House divided: Ayes 59, Noes 444.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (No)||Minority (Aye)||Both||Turnout|
|Lab||278 (+2 tell)||4 (+1 tell)||0||81.0%|
|LDem||0||52 (+1 tell)||0||84.1%|
|Colin Challen||Morley and Rothwell||Lab (minister)||aye|
|Jeremy Corbyn||Islington North||Lab||aye|
|Kelvin Hopkins||Luton North||Lab||tellaye|
|John Martin McDonnell||Hayes and Harlington||Lab||aye|
