Rating (Empty Properties) Bill — zero rating of places used for community benefit — 14 Jun 2007 at 16:45

Amendment tabled by the Conservative frontbench to include the follwing categories as zero rated unoccupied properties:

(a) the ratepayer is a community owned village hall or community centre, and

(b) it appears that when next in use the hereditament will be wholly or mainly used for community benefit.’.

Question put, That the amendment be made:-
