Bill Presented — Coroners and Justice Bill (Programme) (No. 3) — 23 Mar 2009 at 17:36
I beg to move,
That the Order of 26 January 2009 (Coroners and Justice Bill (Programme)), as varied by the Order of 4 March 2009 (Coroners and Justice Bill (Programme) (No. 2)), be further varied as follows:
The House divided: Ayes 268, Noes 220.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||0||152 (+2 tell)||0||79.8%|
|Lab||268 (+2 tell)||2||0||77.7%|
|Jeremy Corbyn||Islington North||Lab||no|
|John Martin McDonnell||Hayes and Harlington||Lab||no|
