Health and Social Care Bill — Defer Consideration Until Publication of NHS Transitional Risk Register — 20 Mar 2012 at 17:07
The majority of MPs voted to agree MPs had considered if consideration of the Health and Social Care Bill ought be deferred until the publication of the NHS transitional risk register.
This was not a vote on the substance of if there ought be a deferral, merely if MPs agreed they had considered it or not.
The motion was presumably moved in order to allow a debate on the subject. It read:
- That this House has considered the matter of whether the House should defer consideration of Lords Amendments to the Health and Social Care Bill until after disclosure of the NHS transitional risk register.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||286 (+1 tell)||0||0||93.8%|
|Lab||0||227 (+2 tell)||0||89.1%|
|LDem||42 (+1 tell)||0||0||75.4%|
