Kate Hoey MP, Vauxhall voted to extend the horserace betting levy to overseas bookmakers.

The clause in question was a proposed new clause[2] titled Power to extend the horserace betting levy and the bookmakers’ levy to overseas bookmakers. The new clause would have extended these levies to those holding a remote gambling operating licence under the Gambling Act 2005
