The majority of MPs voted to give the Scottish Parliament the power to set Scotland's laws on abortion.

MPs were considering the Scotland Bill[1].

The amendment accepted by the majority of MPs in this vote was:

  • In Part 2 of Schedule 5 to the Scotland Act 1998 (specific reservations) omit Section J1 (abortion).”
