The majority of MPs voted not to call on the Government to ensure all schools have the funding that they need to provide an excellent education for every child.

The motion rejected in this vote was:

  • That this House
  • regrets the impact of school funding cuts on the ability of children to reach their full potential; and
  • calls on the Government to ensure that all schools have the funding that they need to provide an excellent education for every child.
