The majority of MPs voted to give the Senior President of Tribunals, the judge who leads the tribunal judiciary, more flexibility when determining the panel composition for tribunals.
The motion supported by the majority of MPs in this vote was:
- That the draft First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal (Composition of Tribunal) (Amendment) Order 2018, which was laid before this House on 22 February, be approved.
