The majority of MPs voted to strengthen and consolidate relations between the European Union, its member states, and Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama) in the areas of political dialogue cooperation and trade.

The majority of MPs voted to declare the agreement establishing an Association between the European Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama) on the other hand, signed at Tegucigalpa on 29th June 2012 to be an EU Treaty[1]
