Draft Civil Legal Aid (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 — 23 Jan 2019 at 14:30
The majority of MPs voted to amend the law on access to legal aid for cross-border disputes in light of the United Kingdom's expected withdrawal from the European Union. One amendment supported by the majority of MPs provided for references to European Union arrangements which will no-longer operate following withdrawal to be removed and another sought to prevent those from the European Union receiving more favourable treatment in terms of United Kingdom legal aid than those from the United Kingdom.

- That the draft Civil Legal Aid (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, which were laid before this House on 28 November 2018, be approved.
