The majority of MPs voted to remove the Motor Insurers Bureau's role in relation to compensation payments involving United Kingdom residents injured in road traffic incidents in the European Economic Area, and European Economic Area residents injured in the UK as well as to update motor insurance law so it functions on the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union.
