24: Clause 5, page 3, line 8, at end insert-“(1A) The statement of strategic priorities under subsection (1) must include the creation of 650,000 new jobs in the United Kingdom by 1 January 2030 resulting directly or indirectly from Great British Energy’s pursuit of its objects under section 3.”Member’s explanatory statementThis ensures that the statement of strategic priorities includes the creation of 650,000 new jobs in the UK by 1 January 2030.
