Boundary Changes — West Somerset District Council and Taunton Deane Borough Council — Review by Local Government Boundary Commission — 23 May 2018 at 19:37
The majority of MPs voted to allow local councils in West Somerset and Taunton Deane to propose boundary changes without requiring a review or recommendation from the Local Government Boundary Commission.
The motion supported by the majority of MPs taking part in the vote, and the majority of MPs representing constituencies in England, was:
- That the draft Somerset West and Taunton (Modification of Boundary Change Enactments) Regulations 2018, which were laid before this House on 29 March, be approved.
The regulations approved in this vote modified the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 in respect of the specified authorities.
