Home Energy Conservation Bill — Clause 1 — Targets for Energy Efficiency Improvements — 10 May 2002 at 12:45

The Aye-voters passed a set of amendments to the Home Energy Conservation Bill that had been recommended by Standing Committee C.

A number of other amendments had already passed without a division.

The amendments mostly had to do with energy conservation authorities producing reports, which would be available to the public, and sticking to targets published in those reports. There was also a change to allow the Secretary of State to make energy conservation regulations that applied to registered social landlords.
