Security Screen — 22 Apr 2004 at 16:07
I beg to move,
That this House approves the installation of a permanent security screen between the Chamber and the Strangers' Gallery.
I beg to move amendment (a), in line 1, leave out "approves" and insert "declines to approve".
Question put, That the Question be now put:-
The House divided: Ayes 120, Noes 66.
Votes by party, red entries are votes against the majority for that party.
What is Tell? '+1 tell' means that in addition one member of that party was a teller for that division lobby.
What are Boths? An MP can vote both aye and no in the same division. The boths page explains this.
What is Turnout? This is measured against the total membership of the party at the time of the vote.
|Party||Majority (Aye)||Minority (No)||Both||Turnout|
|Con||22||34 (+2 tell)||0||35.6%|
|Lab||95 (+2 tell)||7||0||25.5%|
