Climate Change Bill — Target for 2050 is 80% — rejected — 25 Feb 2008 at 17:31
The Majority of Lords voted against changing the target for the net UK carbon account from 60% to 80% below the 1990 baseline.[1][2]
This provision actually passed without a vote and with very little debate when it was brought before the House of Commons.[3]
