The majority of MPs voted to approve detailed procedures for the provision of consent for the registration of, and cancellation of the registration of, formally shared places of religious worship for the purposes of same sex marriage.
The majority of MPs approved the motion:
- That the draft Marriage of Same Sex couples (Registration of Shared Buildings) Regulations 2014, which were laid before this House on 23 January, be approved.
